We advised on a multi-party M&A transaction in a renewable energy developer, involving simultaneous equity investments by two separate international development funds for sustainable investment.
We advised on the development of a carbon credit marketplace (tokenized and conventional), including the project structure, product design, and trading rules. We wrote the first legal opinion for Hong Kong’s SFC on the legal nature of carbon credits under Hong Kong law.
We advised on the structuring and distribution of various environmental asset-backed investments including carbon forwards and carbon credit-backed lending.
We have advised on many successful tokenization issuance projects, involving a range of innovative token designs and underlyings, from RWA tokens to natively digital tokens, from tokenized income linked notes, tokenized equity, to the world’s first tokenized aircraft leasing fund. Project GreenSeas was one of these projects, an innovative tokenization project to facilitate fractional investing in an LNG carrier.
We advise EVIDENT, a regulated investment platform for alternative assets on its next-generation digital market infrastructure to redefine the way private wealth connects with private markets. Through its advanced blockchain-powered platform, EVIDENT facilitates the efficient issuance, tokenization, and digital distribution of alternative assets.
