Daniel is recognised globally as an expert in credit ratings and the role of credit rating agencies in responsible finance, ESG ratings, financial regulation, and managing greenwashing risk. He is the founder of the Credit Rating Research Initiative, the Greenwashing Research Project, and the Aspiring Black Lawyers initiative, an Associate Professor in Law at Aston University in the UK, and a Fulbright Scholar at NYU Stern Business School. Daniel has authored eight books and more than thirty articles, and has advised global organisations such as the World Bank, International Finance Corporation, and the Nigerian Government.
