In collaboration with The Credit Rating Research Initiative and the Greenwashing Research Project, we have prepared a submission in response to the HM Treasury consultation on the future regulatory regime for ESG ratings providers in the UK.
The report contains our responses to the specific questions asked by the consultation, but also provides useful information on the purpose and usage of ESG Ratings, the effect of Oligopoly, the realities of ‘transparency’ in the sector, and the impact of providing ancillary/consultancy services in the sector.
