Former Jones Day partner Ben McQuhae has launched a boutique law firm in Hong Kong that will be focused entirely on sustainability and innovation.
“In our experience legal has been a catalyst for greater efficiency. Founders often find themselves negotiating directly with potential investors and strategic partners and having to produce documents and make decisions of a legal nature with little, if any, legal or negotiating experience,” says McQuhae.
“We are looking to securitize the revenue generated by the solar panels in the form of digital investment or security token, which has been sold into the market as a means of refinancing the projects, thereby releasing capital for deployment in new projects,” says McQuhae.
Here we outline our decarbonization strategy which will be our roadmap to becoming a net zero carbon law firm.
